The school is part of Township High School District 113 1 . Its history involves several name changes and service area adjustments. From 1900 to 1904, the institution was known as Deerfield High School 1 . Between 1904 and 1936, it served both Deerfield and Shields townships under the name Deerfield-Shields High School 1 .
