Ballard High School is a public high school located in the eastern suburbs of Louisville, Kentucky, within the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) district 1. The school opened in the fall of 1968, initially serving grades 7-9 before expanding to add a grade each year until the first class graduated in 1972 1. It currently serves students in grades 9-12 1.
