Milan High School is the only high school in Milan, Michigan, and is part of the Milan Area Schools district 2. The school was established in the 19th century and has occupied three principal locations since 1900 2. The first building, constructed in 1900 at 100 Hurd Street, was located one block north of Milan's downtown center and originally housed all grade levels 2. The School Board also acquired undeveloped lots bounded by North Street, East Miller Street, Marvin Street, and East Michigan Avenue, which were developed into athletic fields three blocks north of the main building 2. The district offers Adult & Community Education programs, including high school diploma completion, medical certifications, and English language learning 1. Milan Area Schools partners with My Future Fund, operated by the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, to provide savings support for college and career training to eligible students in grades 1-5 1.
