Dr. John D. Horn High School is a secondary school located in Mesquite, Texas, serving the southern portion of Mesquite and the Mesquite ISD portion of Seagoville 2. The Mesquite Independent School District (Mesquite ISD) has received several recognitions recently. In April 2026, the district was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report by ASBO 1.
